Motorcycle crash claims life of 19-year-old Vermont woman

WEST RUTLAND, Vt. (AP) — Police say a Vermont woman died from injuries caused when she was thrown from her motorcycle.

Police say 19-year-old Myrabelle Kidder, of Benson, lost control of her motorcycle in wet conditions Saturday afternoon in West Rutland. They say she died at Rutland Regional Medical Center.

Part of Route 4 was closed for about an hour and a half. Vermont State Police say the investigation is continuing.
