CAMBRIDGE, Mass. (AP) — Officials say a 66-year-old man was struck and killed by a Red Line train in Cambridge.

Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority officials say the man was in the northbound tunnel near the Porter Square station early Sunday when he was hit.

Officials say he died from injuries he sustained.

Train service was temporarily replaced by shuttle buses but normal service has since resumed.

MBTA officials say foul play is not suspected.

Authorities have not released further details or the man’s identity.
