If you were driving through Woburn Saturday morning, you might have been delayed by a minor vehicle crash and a trio of horses.
State Police responded to the collision — which involved multiple cars and a pickup truck pulling a horse trailer — on Interstate 93 north, near the exit to Interstate 95 south, at 8:15 a.m., police said on Twitter.
Because the trailer wasn’t able to continue on its route, the three horses were guided out and moved to a safe location on the side of the highway while officers cleared the scene of the accident, police said.
...All three of our equine friends were safely loaded into the Mounted Unit trailer and taken to their intended destination. Not your usual type of police ride-along! The scene was cleared by 9 a.m. — An eventful morning with a good ending. We were happy to be able to help. pic.twitter.com/l3t3nfsGt2— Mass State Police (@MassStatePolice) October 13, 2018
