A man was killed and a woman was severely wounded in a shooting at a Wolfeboro, New Hampshire, home Sunday night, authorities said.
Boyfriend and girlfriend Kris Dube, 36, and Kathleen Moran, 36, were found inside a single-family house at 10 Lakeview Drive just before 9 p.m. when police responded to a 911 call there, according to a statement from New Hampshire Attorney General Gordon MacDonald’s office.
Dube was pronounced dead at the scene, officials said. Moran was brought to a hospital and remained in critical condition Monday afternoon.
Other residents were at the home during the incident, but they were not harmed, according to the statement.
“Dr. Christine James of the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner performed an autopsy on Mr. Dube today and determined that his cause of death was multiple gunshot wounds and his manner of death is homicide,” the statement from MacDonald’s office reads. “The incident is being actively investigated.”
Earlier Monday, authorities said the attorney general’s office was investigating a suspicious death.
Police are asking anyone with information about what Dube and Moran did in the days before the shooting to call New Hampshire State Police Major Crime Unit Sgt. Justin Rowe at 603-223-4381.
