Man arrested in connection to downtown Boston stabbing last month

The nonfatal stabbing occurred Thursday, Jan. 24, near the intersection of Tremont and Park streets.

Police arrested a Boston man Friday morning in connection to a Thursday, Jan. 24, stabbing in downtown Boston.

Adelson Lovensky, 21, was arrested at about 7 a.m. near 266 East 9th St. in South Boston on an outstanding warrant for charges of armed robbery and aggravated assault and battery, according to a release.

The charges stem from the Jan. 24 stabbing near 125 Tremont St. The victim was transported to a local hospital with nonlife-threatening stab wounds, police say.
