Man arrested in South Boston for assault, armed robbery

Boston police arrested a man on a warrant in South Boston Friday morning in connection to a stabbing and robbery last month on Tremont Street, the department said.

Adelson Lovensky, 21, of Boston, was taken into custody around 7 a.m. on East 9th Street on charges of aggravated assault and battery and armed robbery, Boston police said in a statement.

Investigators identified Lovensky as the suspect in a stabbing and robbery reported on Jan. 24 in the area of 125 Tremont St. Police responded to the area at about 10:45 p.m. to find a person suffering from apparent stab wounds, according to the statement.
