Police took four male juveniles into custody.

Revere police took four male juveniles into custody after they allegedly hijacked a car at gunpoint in Burlington on Monday evening and then crashed it on Route 1A in Revere early Tuesday morning. Police say they recovered two BB guns as well.

A “visibly shaken” man told Burlington police shortly after 7 p.m. Monday that he had just returned home from work and was checking email on his phone while parked in the Beacon Village apartment community lot when a man opened his car door, put a gun to his chest, and forced him out of the vehicle, according to a release. At least three suspects then got into his 2018 Audi sedan and sped off, he said. The man was not injured.
