Lowell man killed in shooting remembered as loving father of two young sons

Jimmy Iem, 30, of Lowell, was fatally shot Saturday evening.

A 30-year-old Lowell man who was fatally shot Saturday evening was remembered by his brother Sunday as a loving, hard-working family man and father of two young sons.

Jimmy Iem was shot as he walked to his car parked on Spring Avenue, said his 25-year-old brother, Tony Iem.

“It’s hard to accept, he was just a huge part of my life,’’ Tony Iem said. “He was a great guy.’’
