Snow may make evening driving slippery

The slushy snow that fell across the region Monday is expected to freeze overnight, with temperatures plunging into the teens.

Tuesday will be mostly sunny but cooler than normal, with a high around 27. Wind gusts will be as strong as 23 miles per hour.

Snow began Monday morning and fell steadily across Massachusetts through the day, coating southern New England with about 3 to 6 inches.
