Wareham plow truck crash sends 3 people to the hospital

A pre-dawn crash involving a plow truck on a slick road in Wareham sent three people, including a pregnant woman, to a local hospital Monday, an official said.

The crash occurred shortly before 4 a.m. on Route 25 eastbound, near a Massachusetts Department of Transportation highway barn, said Wareham Fire Captain Courtney DeBlois.

A preliminary investigation indicated that a Chevrolet Silverado pickup crashed into a plow truck, according to DeBlois. There were three people in the pickup, including a woman who was 35 weeks pregnant and two men, at the time of the crash. All three were taken to Tobey Hospital in Wareham with injuries considered to be non-life threatening, said DeBlois.
