Authorities say it appears 33-year-old Sheri Vazquez, of Easton, was speeding on Route 138 when she collided with the Masefields vehicle as it attempted to turn.
Police say she ran from the scene but was caught a short time later. She faces several charges including with leaving the scene and motor vehicle homicide. She was taken to the hospital as a precaution. It was unclear if she had an attorney.
