Boston police investigating after body found at Dorchester golf course

Officers responded Saturday evening.

Boston police are investigating after the body of an adult male was found at a golf course in Dorchester.

Boston police spokesman  Sgt. John Boyle said officers responded to a radio call around 5:05 p.m. Saturday for a body near 1 Jewish War Veterans Drive. The adult male, found in the William J. Devine Golf Course in Franklin Park, was pronounced dead by first responders at 5:09 p.m.

A cause and manner of death will be determined by the state medical examiner’s office, Boyle said.
