Dump truck strikes school bus, injures students in Mass.

RANDOLPH, Mass. (AP) — Three students have taken to the hospital with minor injuries after a dump truck struck a school bus on a Massachusetts highway.

State Police say the Friday morning crash happened on Interstate 93 in Randolph at around 7 a.m. They say the dump truck had been heading south on the highway when it rear-ended a Norfolk County Agricultural High School bus also travelling on the road.

Three of the 15 students on board were taken to South Shore Hospital in Weymouth for treatment of minor injuries.

State police say they’re still investigating the incident but that the accident didn’t cause any lane closures.
