Man, 52, dies after being pulled from water at South Boston beach
The man was "in medical distress" when he was taken out of the water, police said.
A 52-year-old man who was pulled from the water at Carson Beach in South Boston Friday afternoon has died, according to authorities.
The man, who was not identified, was unresponsive and in “medical distress” when he taken from the water around 2:40 p.m., Massachusetts State Police said in a tweet.
He was brought to Boston Medical Center where he was pronounced dead, officials said.
State police are investigating the incident.
