32-year-old cyclist flown to Boston hospital after Cape Cod hit-and-run

Police are continuing to look for the vehicle involved.

A 32-year-old cyclist was struck by a vehicle Tuesday night in Brewster, and now police are searching for the car involved, authorities said.

Police were called to the Millstone Road scene at 9:37 p.m. for the reported hit-and-run. The victim was brought to Barnstable Municipal Airport and then flown to a Boston hospital via medical helicopter for treatment, according to police.

“Currently, the police department is looking for a vehicle of interest that was in the area around the time the crash was reported,” officials said. “The vehicle is described as a light colored sedan, possibly with a hatch back.”
