Cape Cod shark researchers have set a new record.
The Atlantic White Shark Conservancy said scientists tagged five sharks off the Outer Cape on Friday, the most great whites researchers have tagged in one trip.
“Sharky day on the water yesterday,” the conservancy said Saturday, sharing photos from the trip.

The conservancy estimated that one of the sharks observed was about 15 feet long.
The “peak” season for shark activity off the Cape is August through October.
