Authorities said they don’t suspect foul play in the drowning of a woman in Gloucester on Monday.
The woman, identified as 41-year-old Cassandra Baker of Beverly, was pulled out of the water near Rafes Chasm Sunday afternoon. She was reported floating face down in the water and was pronounced dead when brought to Addison Gilbert Hospital in Gloucester.

The Gloucester Police Department and the Essex District Attorney’s office are investigating the death and said they don’t suspect foul play. Authorities did not provide more details of the circumstances of Baker’s death.
