Man injured after fall from horse-drawn carriage in Tewksbury

A man was injured when he fell off a horse-drawn carriage at a farm in Tewksbury, according to authorities.

The incident happened shortly before 1 p.m. on Sunday at Krochmal Farms, police said.

The man, 74, was thought to have suffered a spinal cord injury, according to WCVB. A medical helicopter was summoned to take him to the hospital.
