Authorities are investigating after a person was shot on Saratoga Street in East Boston Sunday night, police said.
The victim was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries, said Officer Kim Tavares, a Boston police spokeswoman.
Officers were called to 808 Saratoga St. at 8:18 p.m. for the reported shooting, Tavares said.
