Westfield home targeted for fifth time as pride flags stolen and burned

Police are still searching for the three parties involved.

Westfield police are searching for three parties involved in the theft and burning of several pride flags from a home on South Maple Street Monday, according to a department Facebook post. This marks the fifth time in the past year this home has been targeted for theft or vandalism of similar items, police said.

Pictures show two masked individuals taking the pride flags, which they burned behind the local YMCA, according to police. They were then picked up by a white SUV in the library parking lot.

The vehicle was last seen going westbound on Court Street.
