Massachusetts woman, New Hampshire man dead in early morning crash in Seabrook

A New Hampshire man and a Massachusetts woman are dead after a car they were in struck a utility pole in Seabrook, N.H., early this morning, according to New Hampshire State Police.

At approximately 4:39 a.m. troopers responded to a report of a fatal crash on Causeway Street, police said in a statement.

Based on the initial on-scene investigation it appears that 23-year-old Colon Ross, of Hampton Falls, N.H., was driving a 2002 Honda Accord northbound when he lost control of the car, and struck a parked vehicle, then a utility pole. The front passenger was identified as 22-year-old Stacy Walsh of West Newbury.

Both were pronounced dead on scene, according to police. The crash caused extensive damage to the vehicle.

It “appears that unreasonable speed and alcohol are factors in this crash, however the crash still remains under investigation,” police said.
