Watch: Baseball GM Gets Public Rectal Exam

Andy Milovich, general manager of the minor league team the Myrtle Beach Pelicans, got probed for a good cause Thursday. Literally.

In an effort to raise awareness for prostate cancer, Milovich endured a prostate screening — a digital rectal exam, to be exact — while singing “Take Me Out To The Ball Game.’’ This all occurred during the seventh-inning stretch while cameras filmed from the neck up for the whole stadium to watch on the scoreboard screen.

Amazingly, Milovich managed to stay in-key during the process.

Milovich pledged to undergo the exam on the team’s Prostate Awareness Night if the Facebook page of local 10-year-old Fallon Emery, who was diagnosed with brain cancer in December, received 10,000 likes.

The team also handed out foam fingers to the first 1,000 men age 18 or older who attended the game, ESPN reports. Don’t get any ideas, Larry Lucchino.
