The former vice presidential candidate who once couldn’t explain the duties of her would-be office or name a newspaper she reads every day is also apparently a little rusty on the location of the White House.
Sarah Palin was speaking to activists at the Values Voter Summit in Washington, D.C., Friday afternoon when she seemingly implied that the White House’s address was 1400 Pennsylvania Ave.
As (hopefully) we all know, it’s at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.
The portion of the speech came as Palin coached those in attendance on how to deal with liberals “playing the race card’’ by “crying ‘racism’…just to end debate.’’
“Well, don’t retreat,’’ she began her oft-repeated line. “You reload with truth — which I know is an an endangered species at, uh, 1400 Pennsylvania Ave. anyway, ‘truth.’’’
Palin got White House address wrong, said 1400 Pennsylvania. She wasn't just one heartbeat from presidency, she was a couple blocks away.— Gabe Ortíz (@TUSK81) September 26, 2014
Totally agree with Sarah Palin. There is a lack of leadership at "1400 Pennsylvania Ave." The Willard Hotel needs to get its act together.— Gavin Mathis (@gavinmathis) September 26, 2014
Sarah Palin thinks the White House is at 1400 Pennsylvania Ave. Obama must be relieved that she won't stop by to sell him Amway products.— Rebekah (@AtHomePundit) September 26, 2014
In other news, the guy at 1400 Pennsylvania Ave now knows who's been calling in those pizza orders for the last five & a half years.— Sr. WH Official (@SrWHOfficial) September 26, 2014
Keep being you, Sarah.
