You probably remember her as the White House intern who captured the attention of an entire nation.
Monica Lewinsky, the notorious figure from the past, has apparently decided to take one giant step into the future. By signing up for Twitter.
Lewinsky’s first tweet was published Monday morning.
Her Twitter bio, which describes herself as a “social activist. public speaker. contributor to vanity fair. knitter of things without sleeves,’’ is conveniently (and glaringly) void of any reference to the time period between November 1995 and March 1997 that propelled her to intern infamy.
Within an hour of her first tweet, Lewinsky had already amassed thousands of followers.
