Authorities ID Man Who Jumped White House Fence, Punched Secret Service Dog
A man who allegedly jumped the fence at the North Lawn of the White House and later punched and kicked a security dog Wednesday evening was detained by Secret Service.
The Associated Press reports that Dominic Adesanya, 23, of Bel Air, Maryland was taken to an area hospital by authorities. Two canines injured in the incident were also seen by a veterinarian.
Reuters reporter Jeff Mason was at the scene and reported details from the ground:

Reporters not allowed to leave through front gates of White House, which is typical of a lockdown situation. Lots of Secret Service on lawn.

Adesanya was unarmed when taken into custody.
It’s the seventh fence-jumping at the White House this year, only weeks after a high-profile incident last month in which an intruder ran about 130 feet into the East Room and assaulted two Secret Service agents.
