This is the most Boston reaction to seeing a ‘sea monstah’ (NSFW)

The Boston accent is not easy to fake. Ask Kevin Costner, Diane Lane, or Julianne Moore.

But Michael Bergin is a natural.

Bergin and a friend had an unexpected encounter during a recent fishing trip.

What happens next is likely the most perfect Boston reaction to seeing what at first appears to be a sea monster.

Bergin and his friend “Jay’’ spend several minutes observing the creature as Bergin wonders outloud whether it’s a baby whale, a sea turtle, alive, dead, injured, or maybe – just maybe – Moby Dick.

Warning: These videos, from Bergin’s Facebook page, contain approximately 900,000 curses, and are most definitely not safe for work.

The creature in question is a mola mola, or sunfish, according to Tony LaCasse, media relations director for the New England Aquarium.

“It’s not a sea monster,’’ LaCasse said.
