Trump dismissive of Ayotte in meeting with New York Times

Outgoing Senator Kelly Ayotte of New Hampshire apparently won’t be getting a job in the Trump White House, the president-elect told The New York Times Tuesday.

The Times reported that President-elect Donald Trump dismissed the notion of Ayotte serving in his administration during a meeting with Times reporters and editors in the wake of his election. During the meeting, he claimed that Ayotte “would love a job in the administration,” but followed up with “No, thank you,” according to reporters who were present.
