Here’s what Geoff Diehl had to say about his loss to Sen. Elizabeth Warren

"We left no stone unturned," Diehl told his supporters.

Geoff Diehl engages in a political debate against Senator Elizabeth Warren hosted at WCVB studios on Tuesday, October 30, 2018.

“We left no stone unturned,” state Rep. Geoff Diehl, the Republican nominee for U.S. Senate, told supporters after his loss to incumbent Sen. Elizabeth Warren.

The race was called by the Associated Press at 8 p.m., the same time the polls closed in Massachusetts.

“I know that I gave it my all, but I also know that you gave it your all, too,” Diehl said.

After thanking a list of people who helped him during his campaign, Diehl said he and his supporters have “laid the foundation for taking Massachusetts back for the working people, I think.”

“And I am a firm believer that when God shuts a door, he opens a window somewhere, so together we’re going to find that window,” Diehl said.
