Read the full list of Elizabeth Warren’s Massachusetts endorsements

With rivals making a play for Warren's home state, her campaign released an "unmatched" list.

The impact of political endorsements may be waning.

But as the Democratic presidential primary race turns to Massachusetts, rival campaigns have begun highlighting their support from the state’s elected leaders in an attempt to project strength in Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s home state. Sen. Bernie Sanders, the leader coming out of the first three nominating contests, has two-dozen endorsements from current and former elected officials in the Bay State, according to his campaign. Joe Biden has 90 such endorsements, including from John Kerry and Reps. Seth Moulton and Stephen Lynch.

Now, with the Massachusetts primary exactly one week away (though early voting is already underway), Warren is one-upping them all. In a release Tuesday afternoon, the Massachusetts senator’s presidential campaign released an “unmatched” list of 147 federal, statewide, and local elected Massachusetts officials and community leaders who have endorsed her campaign.

Most of her prominent supporters — from fellow Sen. Ed Markey to Reps. Ayanna Pressley and Joe Kennedy III to Attorney General Maura Healey to former Gov. Michael Dukakis — have already been know.

However, the list is the first full accounting of Warren’s local endorsements. It includes the top two State House leaders, Senate President Karen Spilka and House Speaker Robert DeLeo; 57 of the the 198 sitting state lawmakers; 13 mayors, and nearly half of the Boston City Council.

“The people of Massachusetts know Elizabeth best,” the Warren campaign said Tuesday.
