Former Secretary of State and two-time presidential candidate and Hillary Clinton shared her support of President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris shortly after multiple news organizations declared Biden’s victory in the 2020 presidential election.

“The voters have spoken, and they have chosen @JoeBiden and @KamalaHarris to be our next president and vice president. It’s a history-making ticket, a repudiation of Trump, and a new page for America,” Clinton said. “Thank you to everyone who helped make this happen.”

Clinton, who in 2016 won the popular vote but lost the electoral college to Trump, closed her statement with a simple message: “Onward, together.”
