Rachelle Bond, the mother of the child authorities have identified as Bella Bond whose body was found on Deer Island this summer, shared an image on Facebook of a meme from Friday the Thirteenth with this overlaid text in March 2014.
“I’m the kind of friend who will help you hide a dead body, but if you betray me, just remember: I KNOW HOW TO HIDE A DEAD BODY,’’ the posting reads.
Bond added her own text as a caption: “That’s right. Keep F[—–] with ‘MY FAMILY’!!! Get it together.’’
The meme is among numerous photos and posts of the woman and the child, who is identified as Bella in some of the photos.
Bella’s body was found on Deer Island on June 25, and remained unidentified for more than 80 days. Authorities launched a sweeping investigation for information about Baby Doe, ultimately following hundreds of leads that were unsuccessful.
The case broke open on Thursday night, after authorities received a tip and executed a search warrant at a Dorchester residence that ultimately led to the arrests of two suspects, who are expected to be arraigned at Dorchester Municipal Court on Monday.
Bond is facing a charge of accessory after the fact to murder. Michael P. McCarthy, whose relationship to Bond and the girl remains unclear, is expected to be charged with murder.
