The Bourne Police are trying to catch drug dealers by offering to help them file taxes

“Our specialists will sit down with you and go over the details of your operation. Records and receipts for business expenses and transactions are very helpful.’’

In a Thursday Facebook post, the Bourne Police publicly extended an invitation to all drug runners in the area, letting them know that the force is offering free “tax assistance’’ to anyone who needs it.

All they have to do is come into the station, ask for the “Tax Security Special,’’ and effectively admit to being a criminal.

“Don’t operate in the Bourne area? No worries!’’ the post reads. “We have an extensive network of affiliate branches nationwide and can assist with setting up a local appointment.’’
