Senior shooting guard Brandon Lukoff, forced to play the point because of foul trouble, had 20 points, 8 rebounds and a blocked shot, while 6-foot-8 sophomore center A.J. Brodeur contributed 14 rebounds, 9 points and 5 blocks to power the third-ranked Tomahawks (6-0, 1-0 Midland A) past the No. 8 Colonials (4-4, 0-2) in Northboro. Senior guard Mike Coggeshall had 12 points and junior forward Jeffrey Svendsen added 10 for visiting Shrewsbury. Senior William Porter and sophomore Mike Stamas also had nine points each for Algonquin.
