Jeffrey Svendsen scored 11 points and Brent Johnson added 10 for the visiting Colonials (2-0). Ryan Russell (8 points) hit five free throws in the fourth quarter to help Shrewsbury hold on. Dan Orlando and Kevin Doherty paced Westboro (1-1), each hitting three 3-pointers and scoring 14 points. Doherty scored 11 of his points in the fourth quarter as the Rangers chipped away at a double-digit deficit.
