Led by Jordan Edmonds' clutch free throws and game-high 21 points, the host Chieftains (3-1) edged the third-ranked Colonials (3-1) in overtime. Jeffrey Svendsen's 3-pointer for Shrewsbury with 20 seconds left made it 46-46 to send the game into overtime. Svendsen had a team-high 12 points, while Ryan Russell and Mike West each added 11 for the Colonials. The Chieftains trailed, 22-16, at halftime and were led in the third quarter by Brady Schartner (13 points) and Nick Campana (9 points).
