Junior Michael McGuirl scored 13 points and senior Justin Valliere added 11 to lift the No. 8 Bernardians (15-3) at home. Senior John Crawley had 10 points and seven rebounds for St. Bernard's, which trailed, 15-13, after one quarter. Sophomore A.J. Pettway led the Polar Bears (2-15) with 16 points, hitting four 3-pointers.
