Rachel McCarron needed four points to reach 1,000 for her career and the Crusaders senior finished with 27 in a loss to the visiting Bernardians (14-4). Tarah Crowe led St. Bernard's with 17 points, while Rachel Pelletier added 13 and Allyson Esielionis 11. Leanne Mueller chipped in 11 points for Groton-Dunstable (8-11), which was eliminated for the Central Mass. Tournament. McCarron is the second female to score 1,000 points - Rachel VanderLinden, the school's all-time leading female scorer with 1,208 points, accomplished the feat in 1999.
