After heading into the locker room tied at 29, the No. 5 Mountaineers changed to a smaller rotation and held the visiting Blue Devils to just three free throws in the second half, outscoring Leominster, 23-3, to earn the win. Maty Diabate scored eight of her 15 points in the fourth quarter for the Mountaineers (5-1, 1-0 Midland A), while freshman Monica Viapiano had seven points and 11 rebounds and Rachel Aho had six points and 12 boards. Katarina Romano and Betsy McNiff had nine points each for the Blue Devils (3-5, 0-1).
