Denise Della-Giustina scored a game-high 17 points, including the go-ahead basket with about a minute left and two clinching free throws in the final seconds, to power the visiting Wildcats (5-2, 2-1 Wachusett C). Senior center Alyssa Hart added 12 points, including 11 during Gardner's 13-4 start, and Meg Doiron had 10. Senior guard Rachel Quaye had 15 points, 6 rebounds and 3 steals for the Spartans (4-5, 1-1). Junior guard Amanda Wood chipped in 5 points, 7 rebounds and 4 steals.
