Ashley Thompson scored 20 points and Meghan McFadden added 17 as the sharp-shooting Beavers (4-1) jumped to an 18-5 lead after one quarter in Mendon. Sophomore forward Autumn Morrice had nine points and six rebounds to pace the host Warriors (0-4), who outscored BVT, 16-13, in the second quarter. Junior forward Molly Bergstrom had eight points and eight rebounds for Nipmuc.
