Junior captain Katherine Edmonds stood out once again, racking up 30 points -- including her team's final 11 -- as the host Colonels (1-3) claimed their first win. Edmonds added 15 rebounds, 8 steals and 3 blocks. Junior guard Jackie Lapierre had nine steals, leading a defense that allowed just three points in the second quarter. Brianna Kilborn and Diana Farmer scored 13 points apiece for the Indians (3-2), doing most of their damage in the third quarter as North Brookfield staged a frantic comeback.
