The Chargers (9-6) were led in the Massachusetts Bay Independent League championship game by junior guard Enrique Sanchez-Vasquez's two free throws with 5.1 left on the clock to break the 55-all tie. He finished with 14 points and was 7-of-9 from the free throw line.
