Cougars senior Jaquann Smith scored the first 6 points of an 11-0 run to start the final quarter as Snowden sprung an upset in the Division 4 North quarterfinals. Smith scored a team-high 16 points for No. 10-seeded Snowden (10-10) while sophomore Javaughn Kittrell added 13 and senior Dominique Walker had 10. Senior guard Ronnie Slager led No. 2-seed Matignon (14-7) with 16 points.
