Colin Bennie scored 1:25 into overtime to lift the second-seeded Mountaineers (16-3-2) into their third straight Division 3 championship, completing a comeback over the third-seeded Colonials (16-5-1) in a semifinal at the Wallace Civic Center. Wachusett advances to their third straight title game, where they will take on the winner of Wednesday night's semifinal between Groton-Dunstable and Marlboro in the championship at 8 p.m. Monday night. Marc Happy scored with 7:03 left in the third period to pull the Mountaineers into a 1-1 tie and force overtime, while goalie Jake Strasser (30 saves) kept Wachusett in the game. Jack Quinlivan scored for Shrewsbury with 46 seconds left in the second period.
