Jessica Moran scored on Gardner's fifth shootout attempt as the fifth-seeded Wildcats (11-4-3) topped the No. 12 Red Devils (12-7-1) at Veterans Rink. Holly Brouillette gave Burlington a 1-0 lead 1:19 into the second period, but Gardner's Kristi Anderson tied it eight minutes later on a pass from Taylor Field. The Wildcats face No. 20 Methuen in the quarterfinals at a time, date and place to be determined.
