Joe Atkinson had 14 points, including a free throw with 9 seconds left to seal the win for the No. 3 Scarlet Hawks (19-3) over the second-seeded Mountaineers (19-5) in a Division 1 semifinal at WPI's Harrington Auditorium. Milford returns to WPI next Sunday to face No. 5 St. John's in a 3 p.m. final. David Mercier's 15 points paced the Scarlet Hawks, who trailed 27-15 at halftime. Wachusett's Jesse Maresca led all scorers with 18 points.
