Junior point guard Jess Korzec scored 22 points to power the third-seeded Cougars (20-2) past the 11th-seeded Lions (15-7) in a Division 3 quarterfinal in Warren. Quaboag plays second-seeded Valley Tech in a semifinal at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Clark University. Korzec scored 13 points in the opening quarter to help Quaboag build a 17-6 - the Cougars led 33-13 at the half. Korzec (11 rebounds) and Brittany Herring (11 points, 11 rebounds) both recorded double-doubles, while Ally Plante added eight points and 10 rebounds. Amy Peterson paced West Boylston with nine points.
