Blackstone Valley 40, Quaboag 39

Ashley Thompson hit the game-winning bucket and scored a game-high 19 points and the second-seeded Beavers (21-2) held off the third-seeded Cougars (20-3) in a Division 3 semifinal at Clark University. Valley Tech will play top-seeded Main South in the final at 5:15 p.m. Saturday at Fitchburg State. Jess Korzec scored 16 points and Ariana Plante finished with 10 for Quaboag.
