Grafton 4, Nashoba 2

Ryan Lorden, Mike Palmer, Jared Vadenais and Cory Hetu scored to lead the second-seeded Indians (17-4-1) past the third-seeded Chieftains (14-5-3) in a Division 3A semifinal at the New England Sports Center. Grafton will play the winner of Wednesday night's second semifinal between Worcester and Northbridge in the final at 6 p.m. Monday night at the Wallace Civic Center. Lorden and Vadenais scored in the opening minute of the first and second periods, respectively, with Lorden making it 1-0 just 38 seconds into the game and Vadenais giving Grafton a 3-0 lead 49 seconds into the second. Hetu gave the Indians a 4-2 lead after Nashoba's Brad Colvin scored two second-period goals in a span of 3:02 to pull the Chieftains within a goal, 3-2.
