Desi Garcia doubled in John Roy, who walked to start the inning, with two outs in the bottom of the ninth to lift the host Guardians (5-5) over the Lancers (5-4). Zach Zona pitched into the ninth for SPM, striking out nine, before giving way to Steve Albert with one out and the bases loaded. Albert struck out the next two batters. Nate Frederick had two singles for the Guardians.
